Small Sensor. Large Impact.
6-axis motion smart sensors built with a gyroscope and accelerometer that samples
movement events at 1000 times/sec, which allows the measurement of every micro-movement, including impact
with the ground, with the ball and the rotation of each foot.
The project began once the client had developed the core motion-tracking technology and an early prototype of the sensor casing.
My role was to translate this raw technology into a functional, user-centered accessory for soccer players.
I analyzed players’ movement patterns and, through extensive hand modeling and iterative mock-ups, explored various sensor placement options.
The outcome was a flexible, one-size-fits-all elastic strap that adapts to different shoe types while ensuring stability, comfort, and precise motion tracking during gameplay.

By starting your training session or match, the sensor's algorithm automatically tracks your physical and technical performance, capturing over 1,000 data points per second!
